Webster’s of Norwich has announced plans to open a third branch on Drayton High Road in Drayton, with major refurbishment works already underway.
The real estate company, headed by Charlie Webster and his wife Emma, plans to open its new offices by late October or early November.
Ms Webster, 38, said: “This year has been extremely busy – the busiest I’ve been in 13 years.”
“There are no other real estate agents in Drayton so we believe there is a high demand for quality, honest agents here.”
The move comes just six months after the company took over from Pendefours Lettings Agency and opened a second base in Coltishall, expanding its footprint to include properties across north Norfolk and the Broads.
This marks Websters’ fourth acquisition in recent years, following the purchases of Savannah Estates, First Lettings Norwich and Langfords Estates.
Webster added: “The market is much more stable than it was in the past.”
“Prices are down, interest rates are down, but homes are still selling, so we think we’re in a good position and can do something good in Drayton.”
Webster told reporters that the company’s recent surge in growth was due to his recovery from liver disease, allowing him to devote more time to the company.
“Now I’m motivated to work again and I’m eager to expand and move the business forward,” he continued. “Some people worry that real estate agents will come in and not provide more local focused amenities, but we’re heavily invested in the community.”
