Following its acquisition of the Robert Wilson Real Estate Agency Group rental portfolio for an undisclosed amount, Quicklet has increased the number of properties under management to more than 2,000 and is working towards its three-year target of having 5,500 properties under management by 2026.
Wilson Estate Agency was established over 30 years ago and is one of the largest independent estate agencies in Northern Ireland with three branches in Moira, Lurgan and Dunmurry. All staff remain in their employment.
Quicklet, headquartered on Lisburn Road, Belfast, was established in 2010 and also has branches in Lurgan and Lisburn.
Following on from its acquisition of ACE Property in Edinburgh earlier this year, Quicklet is planning two further acquisitions in Northern Ireland and Edinburgh before the end of the year.
The Robert Wilson Estate Agency Group is the 12th acquisition Quicklet has made since its formation, which also includes ACE Real Estate and Pinpoint Real Estate in south Belfast last year.
Gavin McEvoy, director at Quicklet, said: “The acquisition of Robert Wilson Group is perfect for us and will further strengthen our footprint across Northern Ireland.”
Dermot O’Hanlon, joint director at Quicklet, commented: “We are focused on further growth and have a clear vision for where we want to take the business. The strength of the entire team we have built up over many years will enable us to realise our vision for the business.”
Robert Wilson, owner of Robert Wilson Estate Agent Group, added: “We have been in discussions with Quicklet for some time to understand their culture and ensure their clients and team are reassured that they are someone we can trust. We are pleased to be handing our portfolio over to such a well-respected property management company.”
