Since 2022, Amazon has held its second Prime Day in October, and the sales event will return this year. Prime Big Deal Day will take place again on October 8th and 9th, but we’ve already started seeing some great deals across Amazon’s site. As always, most of the sales we expected to see on Prime Day in October will be exclusive to Prime members, and some of the early Prime Day sales we’re seeing now are following suit.
If you’re not a Prime member, don’t worry too much. There are always some discounts available for all shoppers. But if you’re paying the $139 annual fee for Prime, now’s your chance to get even more out of it. These are the best Prime Day tech deals in October that we found ahead of Prime Big Deal Day. We’ll be updating this post regularly leading up to Prime Day in October, so check back for the latest deals.
Prime Day deals on Apple products
While discounts on new AirPods or the Apple Watch Series 10 are wishful thinking, there are still great deals on Apple products you can pick up right now, including iPads and accessories, as well as Beats gear.
-
Apple Magic Mouse (Black) $85 (Save $15): of White version At $68, this popular Apple accessory is still cheap, but the black version rarely goes on sale. Both mice pair quickly, are relatively lightweight, and offer good responsiveness for touch gestures.
-
Apple iPad (10th generation) for $299 (Save $50)The base iPad hasn’t been updated this year (yet), but Apple did cut the price to $349, and it’s on sale now for even less, at a record low of $299.
-
Apple iPad Air (13-inch) $720 (Save $80): Our favorite larger iPad model is back on sale at a perennial low price, and while it’s about $20 more than its lowest price ever, it’s still a bargain for anyone who had their eye on the 13-inch Air.
-
Apple Pencil (1st generation) for $69 ($30 off)If you have a 10th generation or older iPad, this stylus is a must-have. This discount has been on for a few weeks now, but it’s still $10 cheaper than the average sale price. Walmart.
-
Beats Studio Pro x Kim Kardashian Headphones + 2 Years AppleCare+ for $270 (Save $109): If you really like the muted colors in this collection, this is the best deal we’ve seen so far on Beats’ pro-level headphones with AppleCore+ protection.
-
Beats Fit Pro Earphones for $159 (Save $41): Our overall favorite pair of running earbuds is on sale for $41 off. We’ve often hit this price point over the past few months, but it’s a decent discount for earbuds that we’ve found to be comfortable, with a secure fit and great sound quality.
-
Beats Studio Buds for $99 (Save $51): Though they’re a little dated at this point, the Studio Buds are a great buy at under $100.
Prime Day deals on Amazon devices
Expect to see even more Amazon goods on sale as we get closer to Prime Day in October, but for now, these discounts are a good opportunity to save on some of your favorite products.
Great deals on Anker products on Prime Day
If you want to stock up on charging gear from Anker or other companies, it’s best to wait until a shopping event like Prime Day in October. Many more Anker devices should go on sale during Prime Day in the fall, but anyone who needs an extra power bank or charger right away can get them cheap now.
Prime Day tech deals
Early Prime Day tech sales include discounts on robot vacuums, webcams, smart plugs, and more, along with cheap gaming accessories and storage devices of all shapes and sizes.
-
iRobot Roomba Vac Robot Vacuum on sale for $170 ($80 off): This affordable robot vacuum is currently only $10 more than its Prime Day price in July, making it an even better option for those who want a robot vacuum without spending a fortune.
-
Logitech Brio 500 Full HD Webcam for $93 (Save $37): Our pick for the best webcam you can buy right now is $37 off. It’s not a record low, but it’s a decent discount. If you spend a lot of your day making video calls, this is a solid upgrade to your computer’s built-in camera. It has a wide field of view, automatic light correction, and can shoot 1080p video.
-
Samsung Pro Plus microSD Card for $100 (Save $20): This newly released 1TB model is now priced at its lowest ever, and the Pro Plus is our top pick in our guide to the best microSD cards.

-
Kasa Smart Plug EP25 (4-Pack) $34 (Save $16): These are our top picks in our guide to the best smart plugs available today, thanks to their compatibility with all four major smart home ecosystems, easy setup process, and reliable connections.
-
TP-Link AC1200 WiFi Extender for $20 (Save $30): The most affordable product we picked in our best Wi-Fi extender guide is currently on sale for less than half price. It’s not an unusual deal, but it’s a record low price for a handy device that helps eliminate dead zones around your home.
-
8BitDo Ultimate C Wired Game Controller for $15 (Save $5): Now $1 cheaper than it was on Prime Day in July, this 8BitDo accessory is an even better choice for PC gamers and those looking for a more comfortable Steam Deck controller.
-
ASTRO Gaming A40 TR Wired Gaming Headset for $100 (Save $30): Our pick for the best gaming headset is $30 off a discount we’ve seen a few times this year. We found this headset to sound better and be more comfortable than many headsets, but the microphone performance is just so-so.
Streaming subscription deals
While these discounts aren’t technically part of October’s Prime Day tech sales, we still feel they deserve a mention. Streaming service sales are becoming more common, but they don’t have the same rhyme or reason as Amazon’s Prime Day sales cycle. That said, if you see a discount on a service you’ve been thinking about trying out, it’s worth jumping on.
