T-Mobile CEO Mike Seibert said the new iPhone 16 is selling well ahead of it hitting stores on Friday.

CNBC’s Jim Cramer He met with Siebert on Wednesday and said, “The military [iPhone 16 sales are] It’s already bad,” Cramer said, before asking how bad phone sales were.

“That’s nonsense,” Siebert replied.
Seibert said sales of new smartphones running iOS 18 are growing, and not just for cheaper models.

“The first week was better than last year,” Seibert said. “Not just good, but better than last year. People are buying Pros and Maxes, so they’re buying higher up the food chain, and they’re buying at a higher rate than last year.”

Seibert also said he expects longer buying cycles when new AI features are released due to feature delays and word-of-mouth reviews.
