Think back to 2019, when the idea of being a loud, noisy goose terrorising a quaint English village was floated. However, it was pretty short and left me wanting more. In another universe, it would have been adapted for TV already. It didn’t work out that way here, but it was an interesting proof of concept to enjoy.
House House, the developer of the game, “Proof of concept for the hypothesis” Untitled Goose Program” was released on YouTube on Friday. The studio collaborated with Playdate makers to create the short, Untitled Goose Game Created in collaboration with publisher Panic and animation company Chromosphere Studio, the game is well worth a watch – a fantastic four-minute clip shows the geese bullying a journalist and a groundskeeper during a TV interview – the art style is beautiful, the Wallace and Gromit-esque humour is spot on, and the geese are just as nasty as the ones in the game.
Unfortunately, House says the show never caught on and that the people involved shelved the idea. But at least we have this very funny video. At least, Panic! ,it is
