LG Just announced A portable projector for those willing to give up battery power for picture quality and features.new PF510Q Small and light enough to be carried in one hand, the smart portable projector measures 5.8 inches wide and weighs 2.2 pounds, but can project 1080p images on walls from 30 to 120 inches in size. More importantly, no other device needs to be connected. WebOS provides access to regular streaming media apps, and with AirPlay 2 and Screenshare support, iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Android users can cast media. Pair two Bluetooth devices to share listening or connect to multiple wireless speakers.
This isn’t LG’s brightest portable projector at 450 lumens. However, it offers a solid 150,000:1 contrast ratio and a 30,000 hour light source life that may spare you a costly replacement. . Meanwhile, automatic keystone correction eliminates the need to fuss with vertical angle adjustments.
The Smart Portable Projector currently retails for $600. It won’t compete with LG’s flagship 4K CineBeam line or many mid-range projectors, but that doesn’t matter. The PF510Q aims to bring the smart TV experience to other parts of your home, or dorms and other places where a big screen TV is impractical.
