On Wednesday afternoon, a number of Twitter users were unable to post to the site for approximately 90 minutes, receiving messages that said, “You have exceeded your daily tweet limit.”
Tweets couldn’t be posted from mobile phones either. The message “Tweet could not be sent” is displayed, followed by “We apologize that the Tweet could not be sent. Would you like to try again or save this Tweet as a draft?” I couldn’t even send or read direct messages.
