ZTE Corporation, a global information and communications technology company, has launched the nubia Pad 3D, a next-generation tablet device that uses artificial intelligence (AI) and lightfield technology to immerse users in a variety of 3D experiences.
The 12.4-inch tablet unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2023 features an AI face-tracking system that lets you enjoy 3D games and videos without the need for extra glasses. The device can also transform existing 2D content into a 3D experience using advanced neural networks and deep learning algorithms.
You can also create original 3D content using the dual front and rear cameras. Dual 16MP rear cameras can be used for shooting 3D videos and dual 8MP front cameras can be used for 3D video calls. You can also pair your device with various software to enhance your creative experience.
“ZTE is pleased to partner with Leia on 3D AI technology and announce the expansion of 5G+3D products. With this technology, users can enjoy a rich and natural 3D experience without wearing glasses. Yes,” said Ni Fei, senior vice president of ZTE Corporation and president of ZTE Mobile Devices, in an official release.
“3D has been around for a while and now we are using the latest AI technology to enhance 3D viewing and content creation. AI takes the 3D experience to a whole new level. and the ability to easily create 3D content on a whim, 5-year-olds love the device,” added Cecilia Qvist, CEO of Leia Inc.
Users can download various applications from the Leia App Store. According to the company, the nubia Pad 3D tablet could serve a range of consumer as well as commercial use cases, from digital exhibitions and education to medical support.
“The nubia Pad 3D’s rich range of applications is inseparable from the strong Leia ecosystem support, including Stability.ai’s stable diffusion technology that enables LeiaDream to create generative art in 3D, SDK integration with Unreal Engine, and Unity. You can’t,” said the official release.
“In the process of building a comprehensive ecosystem, Nubia and Leia will continue to explore the future possibilities of 3D vision with our ecosystem partners, aiming to bring more amazing and natural immersive 3D experiences to our users.”
