All Linden Homes properties at Vistley Group’s Bellengrave Gardens in the Kent town of Raynham have been sold and construction has been completed.
Vistry built 139 homes on what was formerly home to the Berengrave nursery, off Berengrave Lane.
Ginny James, Director of Sales and Marketing for Vistry South East, said:
“The different mix of properties, from 2 to 5 bedrooms, appealed to different buyers as they suited people at different stages of their home buying journey.
We are also conveniently located less than 1 mile from Rainham train station and close to the town centre, with shops, community facilities, pubs and eateries.
“So it is satisfying to see this space transformed and used to create a thriving community to meet local needs for housing.”
Berengrave Gardens consists of 104 privately owned properties for sale and 35 affordable homes available to locals through rental or shared ownership.
The overall scheme design includes tree-lined avenues, public open spaces including ponds, and a children’s playground with wooden instruments and mini adventure trails. There are also footpaths and bike paths connecting different parts of the place and connecting to the open countryside nearby.
Berengrave Gardens has generated around £400,000 in investment in services and infrastructure in the area. This is funding from Vistry as part of the scheme’s planning contract. This money covers education from kindergarten through sixth grade.
Linden Homes is part of the Vistry Group, which includes Bovis Homes and Vistry Partnerships.
