Meta announced update V102 today horizon world, the company’s social VR metaverse platform. This latest update introduces many bug fixes that have been plaguing editors and collaborators around the world. But the most exciting thing is a new feature called “Quests”.
Rolling out on Quest headsets over the next few weeks, this new feature will allow you to unlock exclusive rewards for your meta avatar by completing various objectives or “quests” available in specific worlds.this too giant mini paddle golfa virtual mini-golf course set in a tropical island paradise with giant crabs and giant krakens.
Test Group users can go to the Identity Panel and find a new ‘Quest’ icon with 6 unique objectives, including ‘Get a Hole-in-One’. Completing these quests will earn you avatar rewards such as the Captain Outfit.
Meta is currently testing this feature with a select group of users. The company plans to open access to more users in the coming weeks.
Below is a comprehensive breakdown of the bug fixes included in update V102 (provided by Meta).
- Universal
- Some people had trouble canceling party invites. This is fixed in V102.
- creator
- Fixed a bug where the selection box remained visible after switching from edit mode to preview mode.
- In rare cases, after accepting a collaboration invitation, a collaborator[ワールドを編集]Buttons were sometimes missing. This has been fixed and should now be reliable.
- Fixed an issue where avatar thumbnails were misaligned on leaderboards.
- There was an issue where the author reported that build mode was down. This has been fixed.
