The New York City Police have stepped up security outside Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue. This is an early sign that New York City is preparing for protests if Donald Trump and his predecessor Trump are indicted.

The NYPD did not immediately respond to insider questions about how many officers were stationed outside the facility or whether the department had received threats of violence.

Bragg told employees that he would be protected from threats to the prosecutor’s office.
A spokesperson for Bragg told Insider on Monday, “We will not be intimidated by attempts to undermine the judicial process, nor will we discourage the fair application of the law with baseless accusations.”
If indicted, Trump could face up to four years in prison.
