Is the stock market open on Memorial Day?
The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Nasdaq will be closed on Monday, May 29, for Memorial Day.
The stock market will close on Friday, May 26 at 4:00 pm ET and reopen on Tuesday, May 30 at 9:30 am ET. After that, we will return to normal business hours (9:30am to 4:00pm ET on weekdays).
Are bond markets open on Memorial Day?
U.S. bond markets will close early at 2:00 p.m. ET on Friday, May 26, and will be closed all day Monday for Memorial Day. Fixed income markets will reopen on Tuesday, May 30, with normal pre-market trading hours (4am-8am ET) and normal trading hours (8am-5pm ET). will be
What time does the stock market open?
Regular stock market trading hours are from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm ET on weekdays. However, the market closes at 1:00 PM ET on days before and after certain holidays.
Additionally, depending on your brokerage firm or investment platform, you may be able to trade during pre-market hours (4am to 9:30am ET). The same is true for after hours trading. This is available from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM ET.
However, available times may vary by broker. For example, SoFi Invest only offers pre-market trading from 9am to 9:30am ET, but offers extended trading hours from 4pm to 8pm.

As for the bond market, there is some volatility due to trading hours and holidays/early exits. Pre-market trading hours are 4am-8pm ET, regular trading hours are 8am-5pm ET, extended trading hours are 5pm-8pm ET Until.

Can I use my account while the stock market is closed?
Unless you use international stock exchanges or telecommunications networks, you will not be able to trade on weekends or holidays when the markets are closed. However, you can still perform basic functions on your account.
Check your balance, monitor portfolio performance, and initiate deposits and withdrawals. However, please note that orders cannot be placed until the market reopens. In addition, the speed at which funds can be deposited and withdrawn depends on the brokerage firm’s business hours.
Banks are open on the same days as the stock and bond markets, with a few exceptions.
