Monologic Games is a developer of bright VR platform games. Ven VR Adventurerevealed the latest games coming to the headset this month. VRSO: Bare Knuckle Fighting.
The first in a series of VR sports simulators planned by the Virtual Reality Sports Organization (VRSO), this 1v1 fighting game challenges you to take down opponents with your bare hands in a series of haunted back alley locations, all captured in stunning detail using photogrammetry techniques.
According to the official release, the animation was captured using motion capture technology in collaboration with professional fighters. This includes a variety of offensive and defensive moves, from attacking and blocking to dodging, turning, fading, and even distracting.
VRSO: Bare Knuckle Fighting When it comes to VR headsets later this year, it will have two game modes.
- Single Player – Compete against 16 artificial intelligence (AI) opponents in bloody tournament-style competition. Each competitor has their own fighting style and skills to overcome. There’s also an original backstory designed to get you into the action, and a training mode that lets you set your opponent’s speed, reflexes, and stamina for the ultimate workout.
- Multiplayer – Develop your skills online and battle real players to gain experience and earn currency that can be spent on unique decorations to stand out from the crowd. Players compete against other players based on their rank, promising a fair and balanced multiplayer experience for him.
Based on the images provided, we can expect a much tougher hand-to-hand combat experience than existing VR fighting games such as: Thrill of the Fight, Creed: Rise to Glory, again Drunken Bar Fight. The realistic graphics also seem to add an extra brutal feel to the experience.
