When ordering a customized item, it can be helpful to be specific about what you want, but it may not be the case if you take it too literally.
Such is the case with Peyton Chimak, a woman based in the Chicago area who went viral on TikTok after posting a cake she ordered from her local Walmart.
In the post, which has been viewed more than 703,000 times, Chimak said: impressive cake She said she wanted it for her birthday and wrote “Aries Baby” in black on a white cake and asked the retailer to write it “small, in cursive, in the middle of the cake” as in the following example: Ta.

However, the cake decorator took Simak’s instructions literally and wrote “(small, cursive, middle of cake)” in large black letters below the part of the cake that read “Aries Baby.”

“When I got in the car and opened the cake, my mouth dropped when I said that,” she wrote.
Simak said. today She said she went back to the room to point out the mistake to the cake decorator. She was on break, but the butcher working at her shop burst out laughing. When the cake decorator returned, Simak said: today,”[S]He was a little confused as to what she did wrong. She didn’t realize that I had written her instructions on the page and thought that was what I wanted. ”
Viewers of her post were outraged that the cake was decorated incorrectly.
One viewer wrote, “I need to know what’s going on in people’s heads while they’re actively piping something that’s clearly a memo.” “Do you really feel like, “Yes, it’s perfect, there’s nothing to worry about!”
“It’s better than getting what you originally wanted,” another person pointed out. “I can always look back and laugh.”
Simak ultimately modified the cake and shared the results with viewers in a follow-up video.

“She did her best,” Chimak wrote in the caption.
Walmart did not immediately respond. Entrepreneur’s Request for comments.
