You can’t deny that. Consumers have their favourites. Favorite food, favorite restaurant, favorite supermarket.recently released American Customer Satisfaction Index We cover six retail industries, from gas stations to drug stores, and find out how Americans feel about them.
The study is based on interviews with over 35,000 randomly selected customers contacted by email. Benchmarks included everything from product variety and selection to staff courtesy and helpfulness.
Not all top 10 supermarkets have stores in every region of the country. However, almost everything has a familiar name, and even if you don’t have one at hand, you’ve probably heard most of them.
Some shoppers say Costco, a giant warehouse store with its famous name, over 500 U.S. stores and popular $1.50 hot dog and soda food court combo, tops the survey. You might have expected to get it. But one store beat it (and another tied it with her for second).
Then there’s the countdown to the one store that managed to beat Costco and all others when it comes to shopper taste.
Whole Foods Market
